Ellie is a researcher and cultural strategist working at the intersection of meaning, social imaginaries and AI. She co-founded the Meaning Alignment Institute, an AI research lab working to create new technologies and institutions aligned with meaning, an approach called full stack alignment. Previously, she researched social imaginaries at Perspectiva and led strategy for Emerge. Currently, she’s exploring “Machine Cosmologies” — the broader ontological and cosmological visions and questions that emerge as human and artificial minds come to share a world.
